After releasing numerous teasers that really don’t explain what the characters on ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ will be involved with at Briarcliff, FX has unveiled a true trailer that explains it all. While the first trailer, ‘Enter the Asylum,’ was creepy enough with disjointed images flashing across the screen, it’s the second trailer, ‘Atheist,’ that really gets to the meat of the entire series.
We finally find out that Leo (Adam Levine) and Teresa (Jenna Dewan), aka the “Lovers,” are on a haunted honeymoon spree and being in supernatural establishments tends to heighten their libido. As for Lana (Sarah Paulson), she’s the lesbian journalist who is convinced something is not right at Briarcliff. Of course the experiments by Dr. Arden (James Cromwell) don’t look too comfortable but it’s the iron hand (make that wooden stick) of Sister Jude’s (Jessica Lange) management style that can bring anyone to tears.
