The newest TV spot for ‘Paranormal Activity 4’ has been released online and it contains some brand new footage not yet seen in the trailers.
No official synopsis has been revealed yet but from footage already released, it can be gathered that the story is set in present time and revolves around young Robbie who stays with the neighbors when his mother Katie is taken to the hospital. Unbeknownst to Alice and her family, Robbie is actually Hunter, the little boy that demon-possessed Katie stole in ‘Paranormal Activity 2’ and has raised since. Of course with creepy kids come creepy “imaginary” friends and this one is not too fond of Alice. Is the friend really imaginary?
One thing is for certain; with Katie and Kristi no longer the center of the film, the franchise has now opened up to other storylines ensuring that many more ‘Paranormal Activity’ films can be made. Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman (who both directed ‘Paranormal Activity 3‘) have returned to helm this sequel based on a script by Zack Estin (‘The River’, ‘Charmed’, ‘No Ordinary Family’).
The days are counting down so expect to see a lot more ‘Paranormal Activity 4’ teasers and TV spots before the film opens in theaters on October 19th,
