After teasing us with teaser trailers for the past few days, Paramount has finally released the full trailer for ‘Paranormal Activity 4!’

The trailer brings much of the same found footage material with shaky camera shots and a creepy figure in the background but this time the film promises to answer some of the questions left from ‘Paranormal Activity 3’ with what happened to Katie and Kristi between the period of their demonic possession in childhood to the seemingly “normal” adults seen in ‘Paranormal Activity 1 and 2’

The beginning of the trailer starts with a quick rehash of the first three films chronicling the sister’s journey of what they have had to deal with throughout their lives. It then brings us up to speed to the girls in 2011 and brings in a new neighbor in the form of young Alex.

It’s no surprise that ‘Paranormal Activity 4’ was placed on the fast track as ‘Paranormal Activity 3’ has already grossed more than $183million worldwide since its release last October. Considering that the film only cost Paramount $5million to make, this franchise has proven that cheap thrills pay off.

‘Paranormal Activity’ will be released in theaters on October 19, 2012 just in time for Halloween.
