Last week, we saw the crew of ‘Thor: The Dark World’ prepare Bourne Wood for an epic battle. Then, Lady Sif and the Asgardian forces appeared on the scene to fight an army race known as Marauders. Finally, the mighty Thor himself joined the fray. Now, we’re getting a closer look at exactly who Chris Hemsworth, Jamie Alexander, and their forces are dealing with.
Thanks to Geek Tyrant, we get a better look at the creatures that the Asgardians are battling. They look like pretty gruesome foes if you ask me. And if you look closely at their weaponry, it seems more advanced than it should be. Maybe they’ve received aid from Loki and his intergalactic connections? This is purely my speculation based on these pictures, but I could be right. It’s been known to happen every once in a while.
Also, if you look closely at another picture, you can see the Warriors Three, but only from behind. I feel like it’s only a matter of time until we get a good look at Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano, and Zachary Levi in all their Asgardian glory since I read somewhere that this battle scene shoot was to last 10 days in total.
