With ‘Cloud Atlas’ preparing to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, the studio has just released its first international trailer for the film and it is simply amazing.

Unlike most trailers, this one for ‘Cloud Atlas’ is nearly 6 minutes long and proves that the Wachowski siblings are back in the game. They have managed to take complex novel and adapt it into a visually stunning piece of storytelling.

The complex but fascinating plot involves six stories from the perspective of different characters played by the same actor and takes place over the couse of a thousand years. The stories are thematically related and are linked in one way or another throughout the film.

‘Cloud Atlas’ is being descripted as an exploration of “how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.”

Check out the trailer below and you’ll see why I’m excited about the film!
