From showing his comedic chops as Hal in ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ to venturing into the more dramatic role of Walter White in ‘Breaking Bad’, Bryan Cranston has proven to the world that he can act the hell out of any role that he’s given. Because of this, any production is lucky to have him. While fans can currently catch him on the small screen in his critically acclaimed AMC show (unless you have Dish Network), he’ll be making an appearance on the big screen very shortly in Len Wiseman’s remake of ‘Total Recall’ starring Colin Farrell and Jessica Biel.

In this new clip from the movie, we see Cranston as Chancellor Vilos Cohaagen, the leader of the free world that Farrell’s character, Quaid, is working with to overthrow, as he speaks to Kate Beckinsale. You can check out the clip below, courtesy of Comic Book Movie:

Though I’m already invested in seeing this movie despite having never seen the original, Bryan Cranston makes me want to see it even more to watch him knock another role out of the park.

Opening in theaters on August 3rd, ‘Total Recall’ stars Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, Bill Nighy, and John Cho.
