It seems like ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is dominating the news at the moment, as it rightfully should be considering that we’re only ten days away from finally seeing it. The first bit in this roundup pertains to the film’s soundtrack. Academy Award winning composer Hans Zimmer is teaming with Christopher Nolan yet again to provide the sounds to go with the sights of another epic movie. Marking the fourth collaboration of the two, Zimmer provides his signature style to the final installment of Nolan’s Batman trilogy. And as opposed to the first two movies, the composer is working without James Newton Howard.
Though not scheduled to be released until July 17th, you can listen to the soundtrack in full, thanks to Empire (via Geek Tyrant). Below is the track “Gotham’s Reckoning”, which has been previously featured in a trailer for the film. Also, no need to beware of spoilers when checking out the rest of the soundtrack. There are no spoilers in any of the song titles.

Next up is a new TV spot, courtesy of CBM, that features a comedic bit where Bruce Wayne visits the doctor. Though not likely to be as funny as any previous onscreen incarnation of the Caped Crusader, Nolan’s Batman has it’s funny moments once in a while, and this spot is meant to remind you that they’re there.
