This week the marketing department for ‘Deadpool: The Untitled X-Men Story’ has decided to go biblical and promise us “the second coming” is going to happen in 2018. Sadly, the movie still doesn’t have a name that we can call it by.
Ryan Reynolds, our very own live version of Wade Wilson minus the scars took to Twitter to share the imagery which can be seen above! Clearly, the recent 20th Century Fox buyout from The Walt Disney Company hasn’t slowed down production of one of their most valuable assets. While it is hard to imagine the continued R-Rated take on Deadpool making it into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one can only hope they keep the franchise running off to the side in Reynolds own little circle of madness.
Speaking of his madness, here is what Reynolds shared with the above poster:
“Some might call this creation a masterpiece, but to me it’s just well hung art to be shared with the world.”
He’s so humble.
Oh, and as to that merger? Reynolds made sure to weigh in on that prior to the news being official when a week back he stated that:
Time to uncork that explosive sexual tension between Deadpool and Mickey Mouse. https://t.co/iUEXofWpRu

On a serious note though, the fate of ‘Deadpool’ is one of the more concerning areas of this merger. While non-Marvel properties can easily stick with R-Ratings and be released under a 20th Century banner, those that will likely have ties to the Marvel Cinematic Universe are in question. That means the future of the ‘New Mutants’ trilogy, ‘Deadpool 3,’ and ‘X-Force’ might all be up in the air at this time.
