Following the earlier release of the new IMAX poster with Batman overlooking a Gotham City in turmoil, Warner Bros. has continued ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ promotional deluge by also releasing a new IMAX TV spot and some hi-res images!
The spot looks pretty wicked and features a few new snippets here and there including new glimpses of the Bat (aka the Batwing) and Batman (Christian Bale) calling out Bane’s (Tom Hardy) name. The movie will have a lot going on not only with the fact it features Bane and Catwoman but also with the inclusion of Talia Al Ghul, Ra’s Al Ghul, Miranda Tate, and the mysterious John Blake.
The images included in the release also point to what promises to be a fulfilling ending to the trilogy. Although some have already been seen in a low-res version, the hi-res copies are still stunning. And how cool is the photo of Christopher Nolan etching out the Batman logo on the side of the building?

Synopsis:
It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.
But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.
