Fans have wondered if they would see the return of Ra’s Al Ghul in the last installment of Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’ There were rumors that Liam Neeson had already filmed scenes for the movie but nothing has been confirmed. Well, wonder no longer as Neeson himself has confirmed that he was on set for the movie!
Neeson appeared as the villainous Ra’s Al Ghul in ‘Batman Begins’ back in 2005. In a quote obtained by Showbiz Spy, he says:
“I can tell you nothing about Dark Knight Rises, seriously. I was on set for maybe an hour-and-a-half and the director didn’t tell me anything of what it’s about. So, I’m being very honest when I say I have no idea what’s going to happen.”
We already know that child actress Joey King (‘Battle Los Angeles’, ‘Crazy Stupid Love’) will be playing the role of young Talia Al Ghul in the movie, so can we expect a father-daughter scene? Looks like we’ll have to wait until July 20th to see what Neeson did film.
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ hits theaters July 20th and stars Christian Bale, Michael, Garly, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway , Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard.
