Looks like the mighty Marvel marketing department is still working overtime as they are continuing to crank out more footage for the film ‘The Avengers.’ The film is only a couple days away from being released in the US but that doesn’t seem to stop the PR department from continuing to release new featurettes and TV spots.
If you’re keeping count, this would mark the 10th TV commercial for the movie. Here, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) gives the definition of what makes an Avenger as we see the team work together against the threat on New York. And speaking of threats, the new featurette focuses on the how much of a threat Loki is to our superhero team.
If the trailers, featurettes, and TV spots aren’t enough, the cast of ‘The Avengers’ have been hitting the talk show circuit promoting the film. Of course, with the interviews comes even more clips from the movie and we have one showing the tension between Captain America (Chris Evans) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). The clip was first seen on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and introduced by Chris Evans.
Yes, the barrage of marketing has been a tiny bit over the top but hang on gang. Only 2 more days before the actual movie hits theaters and that’s when the true fun begins!
