In an interesting move from Paramount Pictures’ marketing people, new character posters were released for ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ today, but each one was released by a different entertainment news site at different times of the day. Rather than sending you to all 8 different locations, we’ve collected each one here just for you, ScienceFiction.com readers, and you can check them out below.
Here is a list of who each character is and where they were originally released.
- Captain Duke Hauser (Channing Tatum) – Collider

- Snake Eyes (Ray Park) – Hey U Guys
- Storm Shadow (Byung-hun Lee) – Coming Soon
- Joe Colton (Bruce Willis) – IGN Movies
- Roadblock (The Rock) – Yahoo Movies
That last one is a poster that I found on iGeekTrooper. I’m not 100% sure what character this is though. Maybe you guys can tell me? Is it Lady Jaye again?
These posters make the Joes look pretty badass, especially Snake Eyes and Cobra Commander. And am I the only one who thought Jinx’s poster said ‘Constipation’? I had to double take to realize that it was in a foreign language.
‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’, the follow-up to the 2009 ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’, hits theaters on June 29th. It’s directed by Jon M. Chu and stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis, and Dwayne Johnson.
