If you weren’t able to attend ‘The Avengers’ red carpet premiere last night, we have some goodies that you might enjoy. Today Marvel and Disney studios have released the first still image of the Hulk as well as 20 minutes of great behind the scenes footage and a new featurette!

The people behind Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) have created a very convincing CGI of the menacing green superhero, the Hulk, which you can see below. They were even able to incorporate a lot of Mark Ruffalo’s facial features and emotion in this still alone!

Speaking of Ruffalo, IGN also released a new featurette which has him, director Joss Whedon, and Robert Downey Jr. talk about the characteristics of the Avengers team as a whole. The featurette is called ‘Tension’ which is aptly named as Tony Stark seems to like to stir the pot when it comes to his interaction with the other team members. Well he does say he doesn’t play well with others.

Lastly, if you like behind the scenes footage then you’re in for a real treat because Trailer Addict has provided 20 minutes of b-roll from the film! B-rolls are compilations of behind the scenes footages from the movie. Oftentimes, these kinds of footages are only available to major outlets and viewers get to see snippets of them on shows like ‘Entertainment Tonight’ or ‘The Insider.’ Although there is no script dialogue or voice overs, the b-rolls are still very entertaining as we get to see the cast act as superheroes and see how certain scenes were filmed.

The music is from Alan Silvestri who provided the score for the movie. He also composed the original music/scores for all the ‘Back to the Future’ movies as well as ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, ‘Van Helsing’ (which he won a Saturn Award for Best Music), and was nominated for 2 Academy Awards for Best Music, Original Score for ‘Forest Gump’ and Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Song for ‘The Polar Express’ for the song ‘Believe.’

Now some of this footage may be considered as spoilers to some so don’t watch them just in case you don’t want to know anything about the movie. You have been forewarned!

‘The Avengers’ will soon assemble in a theater near you! In the meantime, let me know what you think of the footage below!

Update 4/13/2012: Just after this article posted, Collider reported that the cast of ‘The Avengers’ headed back to a secret location to film one final scene. Apparently at a press conference Wednesday night, Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) told the press that they were filming one last scene. The press thought Downey was joking since the premiere for the movie had already been held. But then Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) confirmed Downey’s comment. As to what they’re filming… let the speculation begin!
