‘The Hunger Games’ will be in theaters in less than 2 weeks but people are starving for any news regarding Katniss and the Games. Lucky for us, Entertainment Tonight had aired some great behind the scenes footage and cast interviews over the weekend. But don’t fret if you missed it because we have the videos for you to see here!
The first clip features Jennifer Lawrence and how she had to train for the physicality of the role while Josh Hutcherson talked a little about how he was so fixated about getting the role of Peeta. If you listen carefully at about 36 seconds into the video, you’ll hear Lawrence yell out “That’s Nightlock…” pertaining to the poisonous berries in the arena.
The second video features Lawrence, Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Wes Bently and Lenny Kravitz talking about the book, their characters, and what drew them to their characters.
Although the majority of images shown in both videos have already been released via clips or the trailers, it was nice to listen to the actors talk about the movie. I really like the fact that the filmmakers seem to have kept true to the book in even the smallest details. See what I mean in the videos below!
