When the first theatrical trailer for ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ hit the web a couple of weeks ago, it started with a humorous scene with Peter Parker (played by Andrew Garfield) meeting Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) at her apartment window. When Gwen asks Peter what he’s doing on the fire escape, he replies “Your doorman is intimidating.”
Now courtesy of the viral site markofthespider-man.com, we get a short clip of the film that gives us a look at the “intimidating” doorman.
‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Clip:
While we don’t get any Spidey action (yet), the clip does further my opinion that Sony made a great choice in casting Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. If that humor plays throughout the movie, and the director says it will, then this might potentially be my favorite movie of the summer.
