2012 seems like it will be the year of movies based on comic book characters with Batman, Spider-Man and team Avengers (to name a few) making their theatrical releases this year. The first of the comic book inspired movies to make an appearance, however, will be ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance’ which debuts next month.
Expect to be bombarded with images of Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider (played by Nicolas Cage) before then and to prove it, we have the first TV spot from the movie for you to enjoy! Originally a low res version of the commercial appeared last month during the Miami Heat vs. Dallas Mavericks NBA game but below is the HD version showing Ghost Rider in full hell raising glory.
Although there doesn’t seem to be any new footage different than what’s been seen on the theatrical trailer, it’s still entertaining. They kept the fire spitting scene but did cut out the urinating fire sequence (yes, I hear your disappointment).
