Last week, the folks at Free Comic Book Day announced the Gold Level comic books that they will be giving away for FCBD 2012. Today, the Silver Level books hit their site. This list is much larger than the Gold list, but because they’re Silver level and often smaller companies, the print runs on these will be smaller. So if you want any of the comics on this list, be sure to get to your local comic shop early when FCBD hits on May 5, 2012!

There are some good picks for Silver level this year. Grant Morrison takes a non-superhero turn on ‘Dinosaurs vs Aliens’ and Stan “The Man” Lee is assisting on writing duties for the ‘Graphic Elvis Preview’, both from Liquid Comics. If you’re a Voltron fan, be sure to check out ‘Voltron Force: Shelter from the Storm’ from Viz. Plus, there’s the (hopefully) triumphant return of X-O Manowar and Valiant Comics. There’s enough on this list that nearly everyone can find something to enjoy. There’s Disney and Smurfs for the young ones (or the young at heart). There’s even more from the big guys at Marvel and DC for the superhero collector. 2012 is going to offer so many free comics to pick from this time around that I wish I could just get one of each!
