After only 48 hours in stores, Booster Gold #44, Flashpoint prelude issue  sold out at DC Comics. Now Booster Gold 44 is going back to press for a new, second printing. Reprinting the story by Booster Gold’s creator Dan Jurgens with art by Jurgens and Norm Rapmund, the Booster Gold #44 Second Printing will feature a re-colored version of the original cover. This issue has an on-sale date of June 22.

In case you don’t know who Booster Gold is… Michael Carter was initially a glory-seeking showboat from the future, using knowledge of historical events and futuristic technology to stage high-publicity heroics. Booster Gold has developed over the course of his publication history and through personal tragedies he has become a true hero weighed down by the reputation he has created for himself. Recently, Booster is on a new mission, he now calls himself a “Time Master”, just like Rip Hunter, and has taken on the training of his sister, Michelle Carter, to help protect time. Booster Gold first appeared in the DC Universe in 1986’s Booster Gold #1.
