Warner Bros Releases A School Of Aquaman Clips

With ‘Aquaman’ doing so well overseas (having a monster opening in China of $94.2 million), Warner Bros is extremely hopeful that the movie will continue that dominating trend when it opens domestically in a few weeks. To help get fans here more excited for the epic adventures of Arthur Curry and his fellow Atlanteans, Warner Bros has released an additional 4 clips from the movie, hoping to whet the appetites of anyone who might still be on the fence about the latest offering from the DCEU.

The first two clips (below) are ones we have seen before, the first being Aquaman versus Ocean Master, the second being the scene where Mera confronts Arthur to convince him to come “home” to help save their people. These are followed by another battle clip, with King Nereus fighting Ocean Master, a scene which might set the scene for the aforementioned Aquaman versus Ocean Master battle. Next up is a cool little clip where Arthur and Mera first come to Atlantis, and director James Wan and company show off the special effects and art they came up with for the massive, and ultimately visually impressive underwater city. The next clip has Aquaman’s mom, the former queen of Atlantis fighting off a squad of bad guys in their lighthouse home, showing where Arthur got some of his fighting prowess from, as well as his courage. The last clip is a scene where Arthur and Mera approach the Mariana Trench and are attacked by odd creatures from the deep, who they learn are afraid of the light. Finding themselves overwhelmed by the creatures, the pair leap off the boat and into the waters below.

Check out all of the clips for yourself below, and feel free to share your thoughts on ‘Aquaman’ and how you think it will do with domestic audiences in the comments section!

And here’s the synopsis for the film:

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans
the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa
in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes
him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover
if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.

‘Aquaman’ swims into theaters on December 21st.
