Star Madeleine Mantock has taken to Twitter to share the first glimpse of her upcoming series ‘Charmed’ which was picked up to series by The CW earlier this week. Mantock stars as Macy Pruitt, one third of the new set of sisters who discover their magical abilities. The image she posted features herself along with costars Melonie Diaz who plays Mel and Sarah Jeffrey whose character is named Madison. “Macy is a practical, driven, and brilliant geneticist who has her world blown open when she discovers that the supernatural world is all too real.” Mel is an opinionated feminist, while Madison is a sporty sorority girl who just wants to blend in.
Mantock’s image also reveals the show’s new logo, which is similar to that of the original show.

Ser’Darius Blain plays Macy’s boyfriend, aspiring filmmaker Galvin. Ellen Tamaki will portray Nico, Mel’s girlfriend, a police officer, while Charlie Gillespie plays Brian, Madison’s high school boyfriend. Rupert Evans will play Harry, a handsome college professor who may end up being the girls’ Whitelighter.

Soon this powerful threesome must stand together to fight the everyday and supernatural battles that all modern witches must face: from vanquishing powerful demons to toppling the patriarchy.”
The reboot of ‘Charmed’ was created by ‘Jane the Virgin”s Jennie Urman who will executive produce along with Jessica O’Toole, Amy Rardin, Ben Silverman, Brad Silberling, and Carter Covington. The CW also announced that it was picking up another reboot, ‘Roswell, New Mexico’. So far the network has not announced on what days or times these new shows will air.
