This Just In! Many Bothans lost their lives to bring us this exclusive news from inside the depths of Lucasfilm but we’re thrilled to share with you that we’ve just learned that one of the next stand-alone “Star Wars” movies is to be titled ‘Porgs: A Star Wars Story’! While we had learned that both Rian Johnson and David Benioff and D.B. Weiss were set to bring us new “Star Wars” trilogies it seems that the news was slightly different on the latter half.
The showrunners behind ‘Game of Thrones’ WILL be giving us three new “Star Wars” movies but it isn’t going to be a a trilogy, but a set of three stand-alone movies that each focus on a specific alien race within the “Star Wars” universe.
All of these characters will have been featured in the background of previous films, but we’ll soon learn that they all had a much greater part to play. Just as ‘Star Wars Rebels‘ showed us that the Loth-wolf was a species intimately tied to The Force, we’re going to be learning how other species also have a significant connection to it.
While the Jedi have been the focus for humanoids when it comes to this power that unites the entire Universe, they aren’t the pinnacle of a connection to The Force that everyone assumes.
There isn’t much in the way of details as to what we’ll be learning about the Porgs in this first movie, but our insiders have informed us that we’ll be following those who left Ahch-To with Chewbacca, R2D2, and Rey aboard The Millennium Falcon.
