A new clip has emerged from Paramount giving us a nice little look into not only Spock (Zachary Quinto) and Uhura’s (Zoe Saldana) relationship status but some sage advice from Dr. McCoy (Karl Urban) about human women.
The clip is a nice departure from the all-action trailers that have been released in the film and despite the IP legal issues going behind the scenes, this may be the ‘Star Trek’ film that fans have been longing for since J.J. Abrams rebooted the franchise.
‘Star Trek Beyond’ will be warping forward a few years since the last time we saw the Enterprise Crew as they will already be a couple years into their 5 years mission. Simon Pegg (who plays Scotty) did tease last year that this film will bring back the tone of the TV series that many fans felt was lacking in this new Kelvin Universe (yes, that’s cannon now).
