So first of all, it is nice to see the “AKA” that was originally part of the series name continued in the episode names, definitely gives the show its own flavor. Also, it seems as though Rachel Taylor’s character “Trish” and Carrie-Anne Moss‘s character, “Hogarth,” will have much larger recurring roles than previously thought, with Moss’s character potentially being set up to be used again in either ‘Luke Cage’ or ‘Iron Fist‘ (in the Marvel Comics, a male version of her character is the lawyer for ‘Heroes for Hire,’ the business than Iron Fist and Luke Cage start together). Also of note is the confirmation of how much Mike Colter’s Luke Cage will be in the series, hopefully setting us up for his own show coming down the line. And the most intriguing part of all, is the final episode summary’s mention of getting “…help from someone else in the neighborhood.” We know the comic ‘Jessica Jones’ is largely based on featured Daredevil, and since that episode will be the season 1 finale, it only makes sense to finally see the other costumed hero living in Hell’s Kitchen jump in to help Jessica and Luke.
