With the official trailer for ‘Warcraft‘ dropping this Friday the marketing department couldn’t resist giving us a fifteen second teaser to pump up the excitement for it. What they don’t know is we are already dying to see what Duncan Jones has put together and this teaser is more annoying than appetizing! Which isn’t to say that I of course hit play the second this came across my screen.

In it we get action, some amazing CGI, and a want for knowing about the characters we’re soon to be introduced to. I’ll let you watch it before I share my thoughts.

So there you have it folks. Our first look at some real sequences from ‘Warcraft’ and I will be the first to say that at least visually it looks good. We won’t know much about the acting and the plot until the trailer is released and of course those moments will be cherry picked. Even so, I’m starting to get my hopes up that we’ll be having a great video game adaptation on our hands and that is not something many of us are ever willing to say out loud.

What brief action shots they gave us look top notch and the scenery in general is just stunning.

Are you looking forward to the trailer reveal of ‘Warcraft’ this coming Friday? Do you think the teaser was necessary or are you more annoyed with their marketing department for giving us footage we’ll probably be watching again in just a couple of days? Can you believe that we’re actually getting excited about a video game adaptation? Share your thoughts below!

Synopsis:

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.

So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

‘Warcraft’ will hit the big screens on June 10th, 2016!
