Ryan Murphy is wasting no time on ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ with two new cast members having signed on for the upcoming season. The casting news so far has been of new actors and now we have two returning faces in Chloë Sevigny (‘American Psycho’,’Boys Don’t Cry’) and Wes Bentley (‘Interstellar’,’The Hunger Games’). The newcomers they will be joining are Lady Gaga (‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’,’Machete Kills’), Matt Bomer (‘In Time’,’Chuck’) and Cheyenne Jackson (’30 Rock’,’United 93′). While I’m sure we’ll be seeing a few other familiar faces popping up, Jessica Lange (‘Big Fish’,’King Kong’) will sadly not be returning to the series.

On the show we had previously seen Sevigny in ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’, the second season, as the nymphomaniac that was committed in Briarcliff. Bentley was in last season’s ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ as the two faced Edward Mordrake.

Murphy had made both announcements on Twitter recently as can be seen below:

Who will these two returning actors be? You know the drill, until we get much closer to the series getting promotional material we will be getting almost no information on their characters or the plot in general. With the name of a Hotel I’m wondering if we’ll be focusing more on the staff or the guests of the hotel in question.

What kind of characters do you think Sevigny and Bentley will be playing this season? Do you think with it being in a Hotel we’ll have a ‘Bates Motel’ reference pop up at all? Share your thoughts below!

‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ begins airing on FX in October 2015.
