“What if there was a place, a secret place, where nothing was impossible?…You wanna go?”

And so begins the first journey into the world of ‘Tomorrowland.’

Besides the fact that it’s George Clooney doing the invite, the tempting invitation can’t help us want to say “yes” to what is being offered.

It’s been almost 2 years since the photo tease of Walt Disney’s “mystery box” from the film’s screenwriter, Damon Lindelof. Named after a section of the Disney theme park, ‘Tomorrowland’ first emerged with the title ‘1952’ as that was what was written on the box that had inspired Lindelof to write the story. Soon details of the plot emerged giving insight on the roles George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy and Brit Robertson would play. While not much has been released beyond this news and some set photos, the trailer does finally give us something to really be excited about.

In true Disney form, the footage teases the magical and “what ifs” that have always pique the imagination of Disney fans. Like all good trailers, from the touch of a special pin found in the possession of Casey Newton (Robertson) to the glimpses of what “Tomorrowland” actually is, the teaser has left us wanting more.

You don’t need a Fast Pass to enjoy this ride and from the looks of it, it will be a truly magical futuristic experience that only Disney can offer!

Former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world—and them—forever.”

Directed by Brad Bird, ‘Tomorrowland’ hits theaters on May 22, 2015.
