The release of Tom Cruise’s latest science fiction thriller ‘Edge of Tomorrow is right around the corner. Each trailer that has been released has actually looked better than the last and I’ve been wanting to see more. To really offer a tease for everyone out there who likes to see still shots of action sequences, future technology, and behind the scene footage, they’ve released a slew of new high quality shots from the film – 30 shots to be exact!
So with 30 images, you have quite a bit to look at so I won’t keep you waiting. More below on my thoughts on the film!
Lt. Col. Bill Cage is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously demoted and then dropped into combat. Cage is killed within minutes, managing to take an alpha alien down with him. But he awakens back at the beginning of the same day and is forced to fight and die again…and again – as physical contact with the alien has thrown him into a time loop
I’ve said it before, but Tom Cruise in science fiction films is a guilty pleasure for me. Sure in real life he might be absolutely crazy (if you believe all of the media hype), but damn can he act and find good roles in our favorite genre. I shouldn’t like him. I don’t want to like him. But I do, and when you mix an epic science fiction war with ‘Groundhog Day,’ I’m dying to check it out on the big screen.
