We’ve known for quite some time now that after Disney acquired Lucasfilm, the future of animation in a galaxy far, far away lies in the hands of ‘Star Wars: Rebels’. However fans of the long-running Cartoon Network series ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ should find solace in the fact that they will get closure on their beloved story. Last month, Dark Horse Comics announced that they would be publishing ‘Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir’ before the rights to ‘Star Wars’ comics are relinquished to Marvel Comics in order to wrap up the show. Then, a few weeks ago, Netflix announced that they would be showing the unaired sixth and final season of the cartoon along with the rest of the series. Now, we have a trailer for the 13-episode season coming to your streaming device soon.

On March 7th, fans of ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ will finally get a chance to see the unaired final season that was completed prior to the Disney acquisition.
