Last year, moviegoers in France, South Korea, and Hong Kong were treated to acclaimed South Korean director Bong Joon-ho’s English language debut, ‘Snowpiercer’. As it prepares to open in Japan next month, there’s still no sign of a release date for the United Kingdom or North America. However, thanks to the wonders of the internet, those of us who do not have the opportunity to see the film distributed by the Weinstein Company based on the French graphic novel ‘Le Transperceneige’, can still get a new taste of what’s to come in the new movie starring Captain America, the War Doctor, Kim Pine, and more.

You can check out the newest Japanese trailer for ‘Snowpiercer’ that features a ton of new footage that hasn’t seen anywhere else before this. Following the trailer below, you can also find the synopsis of the sci-fi thriller that has it’s audience talking about how awesome it is while Bob and Harvey drag their feet on exposing the film to the rest of the world:

‘Snowpiercer’ is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.

What do you think about the latest trailer for ‘Snowpiercer’? Do you think that by the time those of us in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada see the film, it will live up to the hype and praise that it’s getting elsewhere on the planet? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
