Never underestimate the determination of the fans and paparazzi – especially in L.A.! While security has tried to deter any pictures or footage from being taken at location shoots, footage has leaked from last Saturday’s filming of the Batwing in action. Filming continues in Los Angeles for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and this time the Batwing was filmed moving along the road with the aid of wires. Although the 6th Street bridge obscures a lot of the Batwing action, you can get a glimpse of it between the pillars. In the second video, you get a real good close up look of the Batwing while it was parked in an ally way.

According to eyewitnesses, there were pyrotechnics and explosions involved in this scene and the Batwing was seen shooting out mortar shots. The sets were snow covered and both Christian Bale and director Chris Nolan were on hand for the filming.
A few days earlier, video was shot of Gary Oldman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in a scene involving a police car. The question of who Gordon-Levitt’s character John Blake really is, is still baffling fans and this video doesn’t help answer the question.
Is he really just a police officer or is he a soon to be villain or even a sidekick to our masked hero. Looks like we may have to wait until July 20, 2012 when ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ ascends into theaters. In the meantime, keep checking this site for more up to date information of the movie’s filming!
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is directed by Chris Nolan and stars Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
