Tomorrow is the day Whovians have been waiting for: The season finale of ‘Doctor Who’ and the reveal of not only the Doctor’s secret, but who Clara really is.

The finale has been steeped in secrecy and BBC has taken great care to ensure that the game changing ending is not leaked. Even with the major faux pas of BBC America sending out the pre-ordered Season 7.5 Blu-ray set, the Beebs has set out by any means possible (which is rumored to include having their legal department scour the internet) to ensure there are no uploads of this episode are floating around. Even those media outlets that were given screeners during the run of the series were not allowed to see the entire episode and what was given had the last several minutes kept out.

Steven Moffat, who wrote the episode, has claimed that this season’s finale will “change the course of Who forever” and if what John Hurt revealed is true as to who he’s playing in the 50th anniversary special, then the Whoniverse will indeed change beyond what we currently think.

The showrunner also promises that ‘The Name of the Doctor’ is “full of surprises and questions that have never been answered in the history of Who, including the Doctor’s greatest secret.” Many feel that this may lead to learning what the Doctor’s name is, but frankly, this writer strongly believes it’s a misdirection. The Doctor has lived a long time with many lives. Surely there is a secret that is much more worth keeping buried than his name, right?

What we do know for certain is that some old friends return to help the Doctor: Madame Vastra, Jenny, Strax and his wife, River Song. And whether you like Moffat’s writing style or not, it is agreed upon across the board that he creates the most fantastic monsters for the show (the Weeping Angeles, the Vashta Nerada, and the Silence) and his newest creation, The Whispermen, looks to be no exception!

So as to not leave all of Whodom in the dark, we do have some clips and images from tomorrow’s episode. . The images can be considered spoilers, so if you really want to cherish and experience the OMG jaw dropping finale, I suggest you not look at them.

For those who can’t get enough of ‘Doctor Who’ (like yours truly), check them out below and enjoy!
