The beginning of Marvel’s Phase Two is drawing ever closer with the release of Shane Black’s ‘Iron Man 3’ rapidly approaching. Once the Armored Avenger’s next films hits theaters, a whole new era of Marvel Studios films begins and we start the road to Joss Whedon’s ‘The Avengers 2’.

While we have to wait until May, ‘Iron Man 3’ will be released in many other countries later this month, so naturally, promotion for the film is in full force all over the world. However, just because they get the film before we do doesn’t mean that we don’t get to see their TV spots and trailers. International promotional materials have been popping up left and right over here. Though some may be a bit spoilerish, American fans are still enjoying every little bit of the film that we get to see before we actually getting to see the whole thing.

Now, it appears that there is a new TV spot for us to enjoy and it features something that probably doesn’t happen all that much: Tony Stark apologizing. Featuring a new voiceover and plenty of action, this new international spot shows that Shellhead really means business as he prepares to go head to head with his greatest foe yet, The Mandarin. The majority of that footage is stuff that we’ve seen in previous trailers and commercials, but I really don’t get tired of seeing the Hulkbuster armor (aka the heavy lifting suit aka “Igor”) in action. Hopefully we get to see a bit more of it’s true power in the movie and in the future.

For more info on this upcoming film, here’s the official synopsis:

‘Iron Man 3’ pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

‘Iron Man 3’ starring Robert Downey Jr., Ben Kingsley, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Rebecca Hall, and Guy Pearce opens on May 3, 2013.
