We haven’t seen Emily VanCamp‘s Agent Sharon Carter since she shared a kiss with Steve Rogers in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ but one of the subplots for ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ will address what she’s been up to!
As a former ‘Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ and later having been employed by the C.I.A., it seems that she’ll have been on the run for helping Captain America while he was working outside of the Sokovia Accords. With S.H.I.E.L.D. still around and work available, there are endless options as to what Carter could have been doing.
According to the actress, “We’re obviously going to find out where Sharon’s been all this time because she’s been on the run.” I’m sure we can all guess that the ex-agent hasn’t been idly sitting around and staying hidden somewhere.

However, as we’ve learned from ‘Avengers: Endgame’ that Captain America ended up going back in time and marrying Peggy Carter you can’t help but wonder how Sharon wouldn’t have known about that. Sebastian Stan, who plays Bucky Barnes the Winter Soldier on the show is curious about the very same thing sharing that “I’m still thinking about that kiss. Still trying to figure it all out. I’m very excited to see what happened to Sharon and obviously who John Walker (Wyatt Russell) is after Endgame, and I think it’s going to be fun.”
It seems that at least some of Sharon’s knowledge about the love of Peggy’s life will be explored here.
