After the ‘Disenchantment’ Part 2 teaser, we’ve been dying to find out more about the upcoming Netflix release, and today the streaming giant has given us the full trailer! We see that “high-spirited Princess Bean walks through hell to save a friend, learns about a mystical destiny set for her, and helps restore her father’s kingdom.” I honestly love that they’ll be playing with the fact that Luci is a demon and that they’ll be journeying to Hell itself to try and restore Elfo to life.
Of course, as you’ll see in the full ‘Disenchantment’ Part 2 Trailer below, it isn’t just Hell which Bean will be taking a trip to!
The amount of pop culture you can see here is fun from seeing a steampunk world outside of Dreamland thanks to what looks to be Jules Verne, as well as a few horror-themed pop culture references that genre fans will be sure to love. The only thing I’m surprised about is the lack of a direct ‘Futurama’ tie-in, though I’m sure we’ll have plenty of time for that to still play out when the season is released later this month.

The preview doesn’t actually show us that Elfo will return to the land of the living, but it is clear that his presence will be felt in the upcoming season. On top of the quest to restore Elfo to life, it seems that we’ll be seeing more of the world outside of Dreamland, what Bean will have to do to save her father’s kingdom, and the fall out of her mother actually being evil.
What did you think of the full trailer for the second part of ‘Disenchantment’? Do you believe that Elfo will be alive again before the last episode comes to an end? Will you be binge-watching it on Netflix later this month? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
We’ll see you in Hell. Disenchantment returns September 20th, 2019!
