Need something to do next year for Thanksgiving? How about watch a Kaiju showdown on the big screen? Originally scheduled for May 22nd, 2020, ‘Godzilla Vs. Kong’ is now going to be released on November 20th, 2020. We know that Warner Bros. already had the date blacked out for a major holiday film, and now it appears that the Legendary Pictures movie is taking the spot.

While neither studio has yet to comment on the delay, Warner Bros. Studios boss Toby Emmerich previously stated that the movie “might come out later in the year, so we can deliver an A+ movie.” It looks like these six extra months are going to be used for post-production and marketing work to try and deliver the monster-sized hit that they were hoping ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ would be after the success of both ‘Godzilla’ and ‘Kong: Skull Island.’
