Jamie Clayton Moves To 'Rosewell, New Mexico'
Netflix

‘Roswell, New Mexico’ has a new resident.  Jamie Clayton has joined the cast as Agent Grace Powell, who arrives to investigate a string of missing persons.  According to The CW:

“When someone she loves goes missing, she discovers that the town is home to more buried secrets than she bargained for.”

Clayton most recently portrayed Sasha Booker on Netflix’s  ‘Designated Survivor’ and before that, she starred as Nomi Marks on another Netflix series, ‘Sense8’.

‘Roswell, New Mexico’ debuted as a midseason series this past January.  The last episode of Season 1 aired on April 23.  It was previously announced that Gaius Charles (‘Friday Night Lights’) was joining the cast for Season 2, and that Jason Behr, who starred in the original ‘Roswell’ series would also be coming aboard in an undisclosed role.  On the original show, Behr played extraterrestrial teen Max Evans, opposite Shiri Appleby, who played his human love interest Liz Parker.  Appleby is also set to work on the second season of ‘Roswell, New Mexico’, but not in front of the camera, but behind it as a director.  Behr is scheduled to appear in at least four episodes, including at least one directed by Appleby.

After returning to her hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of undocumented immigrants discovers her teenage crush is an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life. She protects his secret as the two reconnect, but when a violent attack points to a greater alien presence on Earth, the politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him.

For Season 1, the cast consisted of Jeanine Mason, Nathan Parsons, Michael Vlamis, Lily Cowles, Tyler Blackburn, Heather Hemmens, Michael Trevino, Trevor St. John, and Karan Oberoi.

‘Roswell, New Mexico’ will return on The CW on Monday, March 16, 2020, at 9pm EST.  It follows ‘Supernatural’, which will air its final episode ever on Monday, May 18.
