The Season 8 premiere of ‘The Flash’ brought a lot of bad news for Barry– the “Crisis” which has been teased since the start of this series is coming to pass five years early and The Flash is destined to die. So how does he deal with this news? It looks like he throws a party!
In addition to partying like it’s the end of the world (because it is), the new photos also reveal Barry (Grant Gustin) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) consulting with Dr. Ramsey Rosso (Sendhil Ramamurthy), who was introduced in the S8 premiere. Like many characters in the Arrowverse, he appears to start out as a benevolent figure, hoping to make a positive impact on the world– in this case, by attempting to cure cancer– but things are already starting to go awry.
Here are some pictures of Dr. Rosso with Barry and Caitlin:
The third episode is entitled “Dead Man Running” and as mentioned, Barry much grapple with his impending death, and it appears that he and Team Flash decide to go out with a bang!
GET READY FOR A KILLER PARTY – Knowing that Crisis is only weeks away, Barry (Grant Gustin) prepares a member of Team Flash for life without him while hunting a terrifying meta-human with an unquenchable thirst. Meanwhile, Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) uncovers a family secret. Sarah Boyd directed the episode written by Lauren Barnett & Thomas Pound.

There will be an episode of ‘The Flash’ before this one. Episode 2, “A Flash of the Lightning,” was written by Sam Chalsen & Jeff Hersh, and directed by Chris Peppe. This episode airs on October 15.
