Latest Ad Astra Clip Takes Us To Mars

One of the most recent ‘Ad Astra’ clips took us on a “moon chase” and this one shows off the terrain of Mars! The clip shows Brad Pitt’s Roy McBride joining Ruth Negga’s Helen Lantos riding across the surface of the red planet in a rover while having what feels like a pretty casual conversation. That is, outside of the mention of underground tunnels that lead to a ship. It isn’t clear if this spaceship has something to do with escaping the planet or another aspect of the film’s plot.

You can check out the “Good Luck” clip for ‘Ad Astra’ right here!

While I’m digging the look of the film, and each of the trailers have gotten better, I still haven’t been getting the feeling that this is a “paranoid thriller” as they’ve recently been describing it.  I do like how it looks but that “paranoid” piece just hasn’t been shining through in the promos for the film so far.

Even without this feeling present, it absolutely looks good enough to want to check out when the movie is released later this month!

What are your thoughts on this ‘Ad Astra’ clip? Do you feel that Mars was accurately represented? Is this shaping up to be a film you want to check out? Are you at all feeling paranoia in any of the clips or trailers? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
