Netflix's Teaser For The I-Land Takes You From Pleasure To Pain

With how much fans loved watching the fall of The Fyre Festival play out on Netflix, it should come as no surprise that a horror movie with a similar theme would pop up. The teaser trailer for the upcoming miniseries ‘The I-Land‘ looks to be delivering just that and while they show us the bare minimum, it effectively does make you want to see more. ‘The I-Land’ is a seven-episode series that is set to drop on September 12th, 2019, for your binge-watching enjoyment.

There aren’t a slew of details on the upcoming series as of yet, but Netflix has a quick description of ‘The I-Land’ right here:

“In this sci-fi adventure series, ten people wake up on a treacherous island with no memory and soon discover this world is not as it seems.”

As these ten try to find a way back to civilization we will see them “Faced with the I-Land’s extreme psychological and physical challenges, they must rise to their better selves — or die as their worst ones.”

You can’t tell from the trailer or what few details that we’ve been given if this is a limited run series or something that could spawn a second season depending on ratings. The cast for the show will include:

  • Natalie Martinez (‘Under the Dome’)
  • Kate Bosworth (‘Superman Returns’)
  • Michelle Veintimilla (‘Gotham’)
