Disney+

We’ve previously heard that the new Disney+ shows would tie into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and now Kevin Feige is starting to talk more about them. While ‘WandaVision‘ is said to tie directly into the events of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ that doesn’t appear to be the reference which Feige is talking about here. He does make a quick comment on each of the first three Disney+ shows which are scheduled for us to be able to stream but doesn’t really dive too deeply into any of them.

As to his excitement on the Disney+ shows from Marvel Studios, Feige shared the following on ‘WandaVision’, ‘Loki‘, and ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier‘:

“WandaVision will be unlike anything we’ve done before, and I’m excited to talk to people more about it, eventually. And you see Daniel Bruhl coming back to Zemo and having more time to spend with these beloved characters in Falcon and Winter Soldier. Loki returning — it’s an embarrassment of riches, all of it extremely thought out by the team Marvel Studios, to do it in ways that I hope will satisfy fans who are anticipating it, but in a way they are absolutely not expecting it.”

While it isn’t clear how ‘WandaVision’ “will be unlike anything we’ve done before” this could indicate that we’re in for a unique story potentially in line with the comic story arcs from either ‘House of M’ or ‘The Vision’ mini-series. It could either show us Wanda spiraling into madness, creating mutants or bringing Vision back from the dead. There is so much unknown potential here!

We can expect these new shows to drop on Disney+ on the following dates:

  • The Falcon and The Winter Soldier – XXX
  • WandaVision – XXX
  • Loki – XXX

With both ‘What If…?’ and ‘Hawkeye’ coming later in 2021, Feige didn’t expand on either of these two shows quite yet.
