Amazon’s ‘The Man in the High Castle’ looks to be going out with a bang! The alternative history series about a world where the Nazis and Imperial Japan won World War II, will end after the upcoming 10-episode fourth season, and fans in attendance of the show’s SDCC panel were treated to an early glimpse at what appears to be the first few minutes of the first new episode.
After a gunshot, Juliana Crain (Alexa Davalos) goes flailing through… well, that’s unclear, but when she lands, she is “rescued” by someone who looks an awful lot like Reichsmarschall John Smith (Rufus Sewell). But Smith has never been shown to be a fan of The Beach Boys.
No, it appears that the barrier between universes, which the Nazis have been striving to crack, has been breached. It’s possible that Juliana is the first to voyage between them.

“The final season of ‘The Man in the High Castle’ will be rocked by war and revolution. The Resistance becomes a full-blown rebellion, driven by Juliana Crain’s visions of a better world. A new Black insurgent movement emerges to fight the forces of Nazism and imperialism. As empires teeter, Chief Inspector Takeshi Kido will find himself torn between his duty to his country and the bonds of family. Meanwhile, Reichsmarschall John Smith will be drawn towards the portal the Nazis have built to another universe, and the tantalizing possibility of stepping through a gateway to the path not taken.”
As the clip announced, ‘The Man in the High Castle’ will return on Friday, November 12.
Season Three received three Emmy nominations last week, all in technical categories– production design, cinematography, and special visual effects.
