We’re under a month away from the third season of ‘Stranger Things’ and Netflix has graced us with a slightly more detailed synopsis of what to expect! With time running out to binge the first two seasons, we’re still dying to know what to expect in the next one. David Harbour has hyped that the finale is the “most moving thing” that he has filmed so far, but we don’t know what will happen to get us to that point as even the first trailer didn’t really give us that much to go on.

It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer’s heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart. Meanwhile, danger looms. When the town’s threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they’ll have to band together to survive and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.
It will be interesting to see if these enemies are from The Upside Down or from the lab which Eleven had spent much of her life in. Thankfully, no matter what horrors await us, there will be more Dustin and Steve adventures to help keep some of the humor and heart in the story. I suspect that we might even see one of the other numbered children who have gifts like Eleven pop up as well.
