The Teaser For The Final Season Of 'Legion' Introduces Us To Professor X And Cerebro

“He watched. He found. He possessed.” While it is hard for FX’s ‘Legion’ to wrap up without confronting Amahl Farouk, fans of the character also can’t imagine it would come to a close without dealing with  David Haller’s father. Finally, we’re being introduced to the televised take on Professor Charles Xavier as Harry Lloyd (‘Game of Thrones’) plays the part in the latest trailer for the final season along with his latest toy – Cerebro.

While David says that “I had a dad. He was probably a mutant, like me,” but we all know that Professor X is just as powerful only in quite a different manner.

I love that we not only finally get to meet Professor X but that he is in the process of building Cerebro as well! Much like when we were introduced to James McAvoy’s take on the character in ‘X-Men: First Class’ where we see Xavier with a full head of hair and able to walk on his own. Just like in the comics, we’ve already known that Xavier has tangled with the Shadow King and this will most certainly come into play in a final confrontation of some sort.

What did you think of the latest trailer for ‘Legion’? Do you feel that he will get along with Xavier once the show returns or will the two be at odds until they are forced to handle the Shadow King together? Share your thoughts in the comments below, True Believers!

Legion follows the story of “David Haller,” a man who discovered he might be the most powerful mutant in the world.
