Black Mirror

With only three new episodes of ‘Black Mirror’ coming to Netflix for the fifth season, the showrunners have decided to cut a trailer for each of them! The series has a star-studded cast that includes the likes of Andrew Scott, Topher Grace, Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie, Pom Klementieff, Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and more! Anyone who has seen the series can understand why it has become such a hit but the talent involved in the upcoming season shows just how much that the cast is enjoying the show as well for so many big names to be attached.

First up we have the trailer for “Smithereens”:

This episode stars Andrew Scott, Damson Idris, and Topher Grace with a synopsis as follows:

A cab driver with an agenda becomes the center of attention on a day that rapidly spirals out of control.

“Don’t forget to rate your drivers,” folks!

Second up Netflix is sharing our first view at what is likely the episode which most fans are looking forward to – “Rachel, Jack, and Ashley, Too”

While Angourie Rice and Madison Davenport star in it, the real draw for many will be seeing Miley Cyrus in a ‘Black Mirror’ episode.

This episode is about:

A lonely teenager yearns to connect with her favorite pop star — whose charmed existence isn’t quite as rosy it appears…

“Ashley, are you ok?”

Finally, “Striking Vipers” is going to be mixing things up as well:

With Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff, and Ludi Lin in the cast, there are a few notable names here for fans of comic book movies to check it out.

Two estranged college friends reunite in later life, triggering a series of events that could alter their lives forever.

“Is there someplace else you’d rather be?”

No, I think we’d all rather be in front of Netflix on June 5th, 2019 to binge all three of these new episodes! I do have to say that as much as I enjoyed ‘Black Mirror: Bandersnatch’ that I believe I would have preferred more episodes instead of trading them for that choose-your-own-adventure narrative.
