IT Chapter 2

Warner Bros is preparing moviegoers for a trip back to Derry, Maine, and has released the first trailer for ‘IT: Chapter Two.’

Much like the 1990 miniseries, ‘IT: Chapter 2’ will be set 27 years after the events of the first film and the Losers Club, now all grown up, come together once again to fight the evil that has arisen in their hometown. This time around it’s James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough, Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh, Bill Hader as Richie Tozer, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom, and Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon who will confront the terrifying entity of their youth.

Don’t worry, though, if you’ve fallen in love with the younger actors from the first film, Jaeden Martell, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Wyatt Oleff all reprise their roles in flashback form. And, of course, since nothing ever really dies in Derry, Bill Skarsgård returns as the nightmare-inducing clown, Pennywise.

The one big plus about this trailer is that it starts off with a nice clip to get the hairs on your arms to rise and relook at every senior citizen who comes your way. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Check out the trailer (as well as the new poster!) below and let us know what you think in the comments below!

‘It: Chapter Two’ will clown around in theaters on September 6, 2019.

Twenty-seven years after the events of the summer of 1989, It (Bill Skarsgård) returns. The Losers’ Club fulfill their promises and return to Derry to put an end to the evil being once and for all. Unbeknownst to them, It has returned, stronger and crueler than ever.
