Batman’s not the only one getting all dressed up for the ‘Gotham’ series finale. In these new photos, you can see Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) and Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) in their colorful comic book-inspired costumes as The Penguin and The Riddler, respectively.
Riddler sports his famous green question mark suit– NOT the lime green question mark-covered body stocking, thankfully– while Penguin is decked out in a metallic purple tuxedo with a top hat and monocle.

Here is the synopsis for the series finale:
The series flash-forwards 10 years into the future, as Bruce is set to return to Gotham for the opening of the new Wayne Tower. A series of crimes leads Gordon to believe Penguin and The Riddler are up to their old tricks. However, when Bullock is framed for a murder, Gordon begins to piece together an even more sinister plot targeting the city, and a new figure emerges from the shadows to be the hero Gotham desperately needs in the all-new ‘The Beginning…’ series finale episode of Gotham.
After five seasons and 100 episodes, this origin story will finally pay off, and from the sound of things, this won’t be another ‘Smallville’ situation, where viewers will only get a quick tease of the famous super suit as the camera fades to black. It sounds as though viewers of ‘Gotham’ will actually get to see David Mazouz in action as Batman. Call it a going away present.
Don’t miss the series finale of ‘Gotham,’ Thursday, April 25th at 8/7c only on FOX!
GOTHAM is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer and writer Bruno Heller and executive producers Danny Cannon and John Stephens, GOTHAM follows the rise of Det. James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) through a dangerously corrupt city teetering between good and evil, and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular superheroes of our time. Beginning in Winter 2019, GOTHAM will air its fifth and final season, wrapping up this beloved series in a farewell event that will focus on Bruce Wayne’s (David Mazouz) transformation into the caped crusader.
