NECA Opens The Door To ‘Coraline’
Our friends at NECA have released new images and info for their upcoming 7″ scale ‘Coraline’ figures based on the LAIKA Studios film of the same name. There will be two new figures of the film’s titular character, one in a rain jacket and another in a striped sweater. These figures will feature moveable eyes, cloth outfits and figure stands, making them as close to the original puppets used int eh film as possible. The new NECA Spyro figure is available now directly from NECA on their Amazon and Ebay stores, and should be hitting most major retailers in the next week or so for approximately $23.99! From the classic and beloved video games, the adventurous young dragon Spyro makes his debut as a NECA action figure!
The purple dragon is styled as he first appeared in the games and measures nearly 8” in length with tail straightened. He’s fully articulated, including ball jointed wings, segmented tail, hips, ankles, chest and more!
Mezco Will Float Too
In 2017 the feature film adaptation of Stephen King’s ‘It’ blew up at the box office to record numbers for a horror film, bringing a whole new take on Pennywise The Clown to our nightmares. Later this year fans are heading back to Derry, Maine for ‘It: Chapter 2’, but we won’t have to wait until this fall for more Pennywise thanks to the team at Mezco! This week they released new images and full solicit information for their new One:12 Collective Pennywise figure!
Pennywise features 28 points of articulation and is approximately 6.7″ in height. He will include four alternative heads, just as many pairs of alternative hands, a balloon, a framed painting, the S.S. Georgie Paper Boat, and of course Georgie’s severed arm. The One:12 Collective IT (2017): Pennywise figure captures the demonic clown as he appears in the 2017 film. The shape-shifter features four head portraits with expressions from the film. Pennywise comes outfitted in a clown costume with ruffle detailing around the collar, wrists, and ankles. He also comes complete with his infamous red balloon, Georgie’s severed arm, Georgie’s paper boat, and the framed painting of the eerie woman that hung in Stanley’s father’s office.
Pennywise, based on the novel ‘IT’ by Stephen King, is the red balloon-toting, demonic clown who terrorizes the children of Derry, Maine. Every 27 years, Pennywise awakens to feed on fear, taking the form of what his prey dreads most.
