Worlds are about to collide in ‘Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles head to Gotham City on the trail of their enemy The Shredder who has formed an alliance with Ra’s al-Ghul.  But while these two villains are joining forces, the heroic Turtles find themselves trading blows with another champion of justice, the “supernatural Bat creature” that guards Gotham– Batman.

But as is the norm, the good guys soon realize they are on the same side and turn their attention to stopping the Foot Clan and a legion of deadly villains, freshly sprung from Arkham Asylum.

‘Batman Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ is an original movie from Warner Bros. Animation in association with Nickelodeon.  Jake Castorena directed with a script by Marly Halpern-Graser.  Castorena directed the movies ‘The Death of Superman’ and ‘Scooby-Doo & Batman: The Brave and the Bold’, and the series ‘Justice League Action’ and ‘Batman Unlimited’.  Halpern-Graser worked with Castorena on ‘Batman Unlimited’, and also penned ‘Scooby-Doo: Mask of the Blue Falcon’, episodes of ‘DC Nation’s Farm League’, ‘Teen Titans GO!’, and ‘Mad’, and the DC shorts ‘Superman of Tokyo’, ‘Animal Man’, ‘Vibe’, and ‘Tales of Metropolis’.

‘Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ is based on the comic book by writer James Tynion IV and artist Freddie Williams II.

With this picture, Troy Baker becomes the first actor to voice both Batman and The Joker in a single project.  Meanwhile, Tara Strong voices both Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, with Jim Meskimen as Commissioner Gordon and the Scarecrow, and Keith Ferguson as Baxter Stockman and Two-Face.

The Bat team also includes Rachel Bloom as Batgirl, Ben Giroux as Robin, and Brian George as Alfred, with John DiMaggio as Mr. Freeze, Tom Kenny as The Penguin, Carlos Alazraqui as Bane, and Cas Anvar as Ra’s al Ghul.

Voicing the Turtles are Emmy winner Darren Criss as Raphael, Kyle Mooney as Michelangelo, Baron Vaughn as Donatello, and Eric Bauza as Leonardo.  Andrew Kishino voices their enemy Shredder.

A release date wasn’t announced, but ‘Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ is expected to arrive this summer.
