Justice League Vs. The Fatal Five

‘Justice League’ and its successor ‘Justice League Unlimited’ are among the most beloved animated comic book-based shows of all time.  It’s hard to believe that it’s been off the air for over a dozen years, having wrapped up in 2006, but the new movie ‘Justice League Vs. The Fatal Five’ pays a return visit to that world, and even reunites the original voice cast of Kevin Conroy as Batman, Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman, and George Newbern as Superman.

In this tale, the Justice League encounters an amnesiac Star Boy/Thom Kallor of the Legion of Superheroes, an intergalactic alliance of champions who dwell in the 31st Century.  Unfortunately for the do-gooders, they will need his help to stand against The Fatal Five, a cabal of sinister criminals that also originate in Thom’s timeline.

Justice League vs. The Fatal Five finds the fate of the earth hanging in the balance when the Justice League faces a powerful new threat — the Fatal Five! Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman seek answers as the time-traveling trio of Mano, Persuader and Tharok terrorize Metropolis in search of budding Green Lantern, Jessica Cruz. With her unwilling help, they aim to free remaining Fatal Five members Emerald Empress and Validus to carry out their sinister plan. But the Justice League has also discovered an ally from another time in the peculiar Star Boy — brimming with volatile power, could he be the key to thwarting the Fatal Five? An epic battle against ultimate evil awaits!

Sumalee Montano provides the voice of The Fatal Five’s leader, the Emerald Empress, with Peter Jessop as Thorak, Matthew Yang King as The Persuader, and Philip Anthony Rodriguez as Mano.  Joining Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman are Diane Guerrero as the new Green Lantern, Jessica Cruz, Daniela Bobadilla as Miss Martian, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Mr. Terrific.  Elyes Gabel provides the voice of Star Boy, while Noel Fisher and Tara Strong voice his LSH teammates Brainiac 5 and Saturn Girl, respectively.  Tom Kenny also contributes as the voice of Bloodsport.
