‘The Flash‘ is getting ready to return from its mid-season break with what could be one of the best episode titles yet – “The Flash and the Furious”! Not only are we going to see the return of an old threat for our heroes but something new that could change the game entirely and strip these villains, and our hero, of their powers! Being billed as a metahuman cure, you can’t help but guess that this will end up being a threat to Flash before the season is up.

While Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) grapples with the revelation that Thawne (Tom Cavanagh) killed her grandmother, Team Flash must stop the formidable team-up of a newly sprung from jail Weather Witch (guest star Reina Hardesty) and Silver Ghost (guest star Gabrielle Walsh), a new meta-tech villain who can control engines and motorized technology. Meanwhile, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) discuss creating a meta-human cure.
Weather Witch was last seen in the seventh episode of the season, “O Come, All Ye Thankful,” where we found out that she was actually the daughter of the Weather Wizard. While it initially looked as if she was just out for revenge for her father, that no longer appears to be the case if she’s back and out of jail. What her new mission is, though, isn’t too clear from the synopsis.
There is no indication that any of the events from the “Elseworlds” crossover will play into the upcoming episode.
